Athon SPE 1930 Fluid is a medium molecular weight silicone-polyether fluid.
Athon SPE 1930 Fluid is a dispersing agent, surface tension reducer, drainage aid, softener and dispersant used in various types of formulations in the chemical industry. It also improves gloss, lubricity, abrasion resistance, release, anti-blocking and other surface properties in textiles, coatings and other applications such as concrete, roof coatings, rubber etc.
•Textile: spin-finishing additive, texturing oil, knitting oil.
•Automotive and household products: gloss, slip, lubricity.
•Modification of polymers: co-reactant of polyester, isocyanate and epoxy resins – improves flexibility properties at low temperature, softness, elasticity, hydrophilicity, breathability and abrasion resistance of the finished materials.
•Promotes foam in aqueous solutions, stabilizing the air/water interface and allowing generation and stability of foams, in a much lower degree of foaming than anionic surfactants such as sodium lauryl ether sulfate.
