DESCRIPTION

Athon MQ 800 Resin is a powdered silicone resin used in formulation of release agents and products that require shine and fixation.

CHARACTERISTICS

•Good heat stability
•Does not leave residues in metal molds
•Good wetting and spreading in molds
•Less need to clean molded parts before finishing
•Drying with film formation

APPLICATIONS

Athon MQ 800 Resin is used as a release agent normally diluted with solvent prior to application by brushing or spraying into the mold. Suitable solvents: aliphatic, aromatic or chlorinated hydrocarbons.
Also used in product formulations for HomeCare and AutoCare, providing shine and fixation by film formation.
