DESCRIPTION

Athon EM 695 Emulsion is a high viscosity silicone fluid emulsion.

CHARACTERISTICS

•Easily incorporated into formulations by cold blending
•Extremely stable finely dispersed emulsion
•Stable to shear even in highly diluted preparations
•Excellent spreading and wetting properties
•Forms a smooth, even film at low concentrations

APPLICATIONS

•General purpose release agent for rubber vulcanization
•Auxiliary ironing of aerosol formulations containing starch
•Additive for fabric softener formulations
•Foundry casting release agent

Athon EM 695 Emulsion can be used diluted to a solids content of 0.5 to 5%. The diluted emulsion can be applied by dipping, spraying or brushing. Usual pneumatic spray application is preferred as it is the most economical method for obtaining a uniform release agent film.
