Athon CA 789 Silane is a reactive chemical containing mercaptan functionality and 3 hydrolyzable methoxide groups attached to the silicon atom.

•Improved processability during compounding process with good inorganic fillers dispersion and agglomeration reduction
•Improves adhesion of polysulfide and polyurethane sealants to glass and metal surfaces
•Improves properties in products reinforced with mineral fillers, such as shoe soles, insulation of wires and cables and other rubber products
•Used in sulfur-cured and metal-oxide-cured elastomers. It can be added at the time of composition or used to treat mineral fillers previously
