Aqueous solution of an aminofunctional silane homopolymer, used as an additive or primer in water-based systems to improve bonding between organic resins and inorganic substrates. Works with phenolic and epoxy resins, as well as with polyurethanes and acrylics.
For use as primer, dilute to 10% solids in water or isopropanol and apply by immersion or by brush.
For use as adhesion promoting additive, it should be added during the final dilution stage at a concentration of 0.5 to 3.0% by weight. If there are fillers, silicas or pigments, higher levels may be required, as the silane may preferentially absorb on these surfaces.
