Athon AM 8616 Fluid is a self-emulsifying preparation containing silicone- polyether fluid used for softening fabrics with hydrophilic properties.

Athon AM 8616 Fluid is a self-emulsifying, hydrophilic silicone textile softener developed from new and innovative molecules. Provides softness and smoothness as well as hydrophilicity to virtually all types of fibers and fabrics. Being more effective than other common silicone softeners, it has great performance even applied in smaller amounts. It is very stable in the normal textile finishing process without causing oil stains on the fabric.
Dilution instruction
•It is recommended to dilute Athon AM 8616 FLUID using cold water, in a ratio of 1 to 5 to 1 to 8.
•Add half the amount of water.
•Add Athon AM 8616 FLUID with gentle agitation for 30 minutes.
•Keep stirring and add the other half of the calculated amount of water.
•Continue stirring for another 10 minutes.
The dilution time can be reduced by gently heating the initial mixture to 40 to 50°C.
