Athon PF 252 Emulsion is an emulsion containing polisiloxanes with aryl and alkyl groups.
Athon PF 252 Emulsion is excellent for mold release of parts to be coated, painted, glued or coated in galvanic process. Emulsion stable to dilution and shear with optimum efficiency at low concentrations and easily formulated with other additives. The silicone oil phase is compatible with many organic finishes (inks / coatings / adhesives). The product is recommended for release of parts where post finishing is required.
Athon PF 252 Emulsion is highly recommended for molding, casting and extrusion of aluminum parts and their alloys. Also used for metal materials, rubbers and plastics in manufacturing, molding or extrusion processes. The product can be diluted and spread with brush or sprayed on the molds. The recommended starting dilution is 1: 100 (1 part Athon PF 252 Emulsion for 100 parts water) – test the best dilutions and application conditions before use. Molded parts must be cleaned prior to final finishing.
